The House Keeper’s Cottage was built at the rear of the property to accommodate many of the live-in staff to keep Dr Brewer and his family in the genteel manner to which they were accustomed. Now fully restored, the two-bedroom cottage has modern amenities yet maintains its unique “old world charm,” featuring its very own private rose garden and outdoor setting.

Dr Brewer’s Rooms

Dr. Brewer, the gentleman doctor who oversaw the construction of Annesley House in 1878, originally used these rooms as his consulting rooms. Dr. Brewer’s Apartment, which now occupies the ground floor of our historic Georgian-style home, features three bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom is furnished with the original French Antique Timber king size bed, while the second room has a queen bed, and the third has a king single bed.
