Dr. Brewer, the gentleman doctor who built Annesley House in 1878, originally used these rooms as his consulting rooms. Today, Dr. Brewer’s Apartment occupies the ground floor of our historic Georgian-style home, offering three bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features the original French Antique Timber king size bed, while the second room has a queen bed, and the third has a king single bed.
The apartment also boasts a fully appointed modern kitchen that opens up to a dining and sitting room. Despite the modern updates, many original features and furnishings remain, such as a bell on the west wall that was once used to summon servants to the kitchen.
Take advantage of the free-standing claw foot bath in the sunlit bathroom, equipped with a shower canopy for the perfect soak. The apartment includes high-quality linen, bedding, electric blankets, thick towels, cutlery, crockery, iron, ironing board, off-street parking, wireless internet, and a smart television.
Dr. Brewer’s Apartment is just what the doctor ordered for a perfect stay in Portland.
